This house is about a mile (or less as the crow flies) from our house and is the most effected by the overwhelming amount of water that our area recieved from Fay. I took this picture on Friday night and since then the water has actually gone up more! There is probably about 24" of water inside the house and the family has moved out themselves as well as a few personal things...for who knows how long.Wednesday, August 27, 2008
Local Fay Flooding

WOW, that is nuts to have such a flood right up the street. Florida is going to sink. You should get out before your house has lakefront property.
Actually, for the first time since we've been in our house (4 1/2 years), we do have a legitimate pond in the back "conservation area." I think we'll be safe unless we get two more storms like Fay in the next month or two.
